Selling antiques in Lincolnshire

We buy good period pieces outright: furniture, clocks, silver, art and decorative antiques. Send a few photos and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s something we’d buy.

What we buy

Furniture

Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, and good country pieces in oak, elm and fruitwood.

Clocks and barometers

Longcase, bracket, carriage and mantel clocks, working or not.

Silver

Hallmarked English silver.

Art, maps and prints

Period oils, watercolours, engravings and county maps.

Decorative antiques

Mirrors, ceramics, metalwork and interesting pieces.

What we don’t buy

We’re selective. We don’t buy reproductions, modern furniture or general household items, and we don’t offer general house clearances. If something isn’t for us, we’ll say so quickly and, where we can, suggest where to try.

Collections and estates

If you’re dealing with a house or a collection, we’re happy to look through it for the better pieces. Photos of the main items are the best place to start.

If auction would suit it better

Some pieces do better at auction. If we think that’s the case, we’ll tell you and suggest suitable salerooms.

How it works

  1. Send photos

The whole piece, then close-ups of any marks, labels or damage, plus rough measurements.

  2. Our view

We’ll tell you whether it’s something we’d buy. We may want to see it before making a firm offer.

  3. Agree and collect

If we agree a price, we can collect from across Lincolnshire.

Send us photos

Add up to eight photos to the enquiry form, with a short description of the piece.
