Antique restoration in Lincolnshire
Sympathetic repair and conservation for period furniture and clocks, from our workshop in Woodhall Spa. We collect and deliver across Lincolnshire, and take pieces from further afield.
The aim is not to make it look new
Good restoration stabilises and repairs a piece so it can be used for another generation, while keeping its original surfaces, colour and character. That is also what protects its value.
We’ve handled period furniture and clocks for forty years as dealers, so we know what matters on a piece and what to leave alone. If we think something is better left as it is, we’ll say so.

Common questions
Will restoration reduce the value?
Done badly, it can. Sympathetic work that keeps original surfaces and parts usually protects value. We’ll tell you if we think a piece is better left alone.
Can you work on pieces from outside Lincolnshire?
Yes. Most jobs start with photos and a call, wherever you are. We’ll talk through how to get the piece to us.
How long does it take?
It depends on the work and how busy the workshop is. We’ll give you a realistic timescale with the quote.
Tell us about your piece
Send a few photos and a short description of the damage. We’ll tell you what we’d recommend.
