Antique clock restoration
Longcase, bracket, carriage and mantel clocks restored to working order. Cases, dials and hands restored in our workshop, with full movement servicing arranged.
Cases
Longcase and bracket clock cases get the same care as any period furniture: structural repairs, veneer work, mouldings, finials and finishes, all done in our workshop.
Dials and hands
Painted and brass dials cleaned and restored, and missing or broken hands replaced to suit the clock’s age and style.
Movements
We arrange full movement servicing, from cleaning and adjustment to repairs, so the clock comes back to you complete and in working order. Some older movements need parts made from scratch. We’ll tell you before any work starts if that’s likely.
Lincolnshire makers
Lincolnshire has a long tradition of clockmaking, and many local longcase clocks are still in the families that bought them. We take particular care with them.
Tell us about your clock
Photos of the dial, the case and any maker’s name, plus what it’s doing or not doing, are a good start.
